The Story of Muzeon

About Us

Muzeon is an innovative Jewish history exhibition, founded in 2020, as a private initiative. Based on a family history, Muzeon tells stories of the Jewish community in Cluj, Romania, via three different audio guides: Julia, Paul, and David. All the information in the exhibition, including the audio guide, is available in English, Romanian, Hungarian, Hebrew, German, French, and Spanish.

The Muzeon mission is to offer visitors a meaningful learning experience, without the effort of learning. That is why there are three different audio guides, which tell real stories in first person, combined with interactive exhibits, artifacts, artistic installations, and Virtual Reality.

  • It's a good museum, but the voice acting is only in Romanian and English, so keep that in mind.

  • A must! A small museum that tells the story of one family's journey from Cluj to Auschwitz and their rebirth. Fascinating. Also touches on Kasner.

  • חובה! מוזיאון קטן המספר על מסע שלמשפחה אחת מקלוז לאושוויץ ולתקומה. עשוי מרתק. גם נוגע בקאסנר.

  • It's more of an experience than a museum. Very emotional, I was crying at the end.
