The Story of Muzeon

About Us

Muzeon is an innovative Jewish History Museum, founded in 2020, as a private initiative. Based on a family history, the museum tells stories of the Jewish community in Cluj, Romania, via three different audio guides: Julia, Paul, and David. All the information in the museum, including the audio guide, is available in English, Romanian, and Hungarian.

The Muzeon mission is to offer visitors a meaningful learning experience, without the effort of learning. That is why there are three different audio guides, which tell real stories in first person, combined with interactive exhibits, artefacts, artistic installations, and Virtual Reality.

Reviews from our visitors

  • 5 star review  Great piece of History, seems broken from a tale, and it hurts me to know all this was real. Whoever you are, you must see all this, just to make sure this won't happen again. I will revisit.

  • 5 star review  Wonderful museum, totally worth visiting. It is fully interactive, with legend in 3 languages: Romanian, Hungarian and English. Beautifully narrated with music, art pieces and specific objects. It tells a story about survival and hard times. Kind staff and an unexpected experience while taking a stroll in the heart of the old town. Online tickets are cheaper. Check it out!
